In our Design for Manufacturing class, we undertook the challenge of reimagining the iMac stand to enhance its stability and safety. Focusing on withstanding standard tipping forces at the top, our design seamlessly integrates aluminum extrusion for both durability and aesthetic continuity with Apple's iconic products. The result is a sleek and modern stand that not only provides enhanced stability through innovative structural elements but also maintains the clean, minimalist look synonymous with Apple design. The user-friendly assembly and adaptability across iMac models further emphasize our commitment to a comprehensive redesign that aligns with both functional and aesthetic considerations.
